STATEMENT OF FAITH
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible (66 books of the Old and New Testaments) is God’s written Word, fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, infallible, and inerrant in the original manuscripts. It is the final authority for faith and practice and must be interpreted in its context under the illumination of the Holy Spirit.

God
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in essence and attributes. God is sovereign, holy, all-powerful, all-knowing, and present everywhere. We know Him through Scripture and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, and the only Savior. He died on the cross as a voluntary, substitutionary sacrifice, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and now intercedes for believers. He will return for His Church and will reign as King.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is God. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, indwells and sanctifies believers, empowers them for service, and distributes spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church.

Man and Sin
We believe man was created by God in His image but fell into sin through Adam’s disobedience. All people are born sinful, separated from God, and in need of salvation.

Salvation
We believe salvation is by God’s grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone—not by works. God justifies, regenerates, sanctifies, and keeps eternally secure all who truly believe.
​
The Church
We believe the universal Church is the body and bride of Christ, made up of all true believers. Local churches exist for worship, teaching, fellowship, discipleship, ordinances (baptism and the Lord’s Supper), and evangelism, under Christ’s authority and biblical leadership.

Marriage
We believe marriage is ordained by God as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Christians are to marry in the Lord and honor marriage according to Scripture.
​
Civil Government
We believe God established civil government to restrain evil and promote order. Christians should obey laws that do not contradict God’s Word and pray for those in authority.
​
The Spirit World, Death, and Eternity
We believe angels are created beings who serve God, and Satan is a fallen angel destined for final judgment. After death, the saved are with Christ and the unsaved face judgment. There will be a bodily resurrection of all, Christ’s return, final judgment, and eternal life for believers in the new heavens and new earth.
