Blagovest Institute of Ministry (BIM) welcomes students who sense God’s calling to deeper biblical understanding, theological formation, and faithful service in the local church. Our admissions process is designed to be clear, pastoral, and supportive, while maintaining academic integrity and ministry readiness.

 

BIM exists to serve evangelical churches by preparing spiritually mature, biblically grounded, and theologically trained leaders for real-life ministry contexts.

 

Who Should Apply

 

BIM is designed for individuals who:

  • Sense a calling to Christian ministry, leadership, or theological education

  • Are actively involved in a local evangelical church

  • Desire biblically faithful and academically sound theological training

  • Seek practical preparation for preaching, teaching, evangelism, and church service

  • Our programs serve pastors, ministry leaders, missionaries, teachers, and committed lay leaders.

 

Admission Requirements

 

General Admission Requirements

 

Applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Profess faith in Jesus Christ

  • Demonstrate active involvement in a local evangelical church

  • Possess the academic background appropriate to the program level

 

Academic Requirements by Program

 

Certificate / Associate Degree Programs

  • High school diploma or equivalent (or foreign equivalent)

 

Bachelor’s Degree Programs

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Prior college or theological coursework (if applicable)

 

Master’s Degree Programs

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent theological education

  • Evidence of ministry involvement or experience

 

Application Materials

 

To apply, applicants must submit:

  • Completed Application Form

  • Personal Testimony (brief written statement of faith and calling)

  • Academic Transcripts (copies acceptable for admission review)

  • Pastoral Recommendation (from a pastor or ministry leader)

  • Application Fee (if applicable)

  • International applicants may be asked to provide additional documentation.

 

Admissions Review Process

 

Applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee with attention to:

  • Spiritual maturity and calling

  • Academic readiness

  • Ministry involvement and character

  • Program fit

  • Applicants may be contacted for clarification or a brief interview.

 

Enrollment & Registration

 

Once accepted, students will receive:

  • Official Letter of Acceptance

  • Program and course registration instructions

  • Tuition and payment information

  • Orientation materials

  • Students are expected to maintain active church involvement throughout their studies.

 

Tuition & Financial Information

Blagovest Institute of Ministry (BIM) is committed to providing accessible and high-quality theological educationwhile recognizing the diverse ministry contexts and financial realities of our students.

Tuition Structure

Tuition rates at BIM are not uniform and may vary based on several factors, including:

  • Program level (Associate, Bachelor, Master)

  • Cohort model (on-campus, extension site, or hybrid)

  • Instructional location (partner church or ministry site)

  • Delivery format (in-person, hybrid, or intensive modules)

  • Academic year and cohort start date

 

Because of this structure, tuition rates are established and communicated individually for each cohort prior to the start of the program.
